I was lucky enough to visit my gorgeous 20 year old daughter in London for Thanksgiving. 4 much needed days to just hang with her in her new city. She is such a great traveller! I am so proud of her. We had a ball and especially enjoyed crashing in our uber-tiny hotel room after a day of sightseeing, eating Cadbury bars, and laughing ourselves to sleep. Oh, No!!!!! I've turned into one of those bragging bloggers!!!! Hey...this is fun...

Your daughter is gorgeous. What a fun trip it sounds like! Must be the season for mother and daughter trips as I returned from Paris with Mom for a biz trip in October. Love those hobby horses. I look forward to pattern or tutorial. Can't wait to see you this weekend!
Hi Nancy,
Oh my gosh you both look so beautiful. I found your blog while researching your past modeling stuff, because my daughter Sarah is preparing her first book. She is a pre-nursing student who is also very artistic and gorgeous and I wanted to show her the "right way" to approach the modeling business, and you are the perfect example. I am so proud of your creativity and beautiful quilting projects, you have great talent. Say hello to your lovely daughter for us- and keep posting lovely things! I especially love the Guadelupe quilt. Powerful!
Love,
Maria Elena (Northport!) and Sarah Austin
Thanks Maria Elena! So good to hear from you. I would love to see your lovely daughter! Good luck- the modeling world is very different from the time I started in 1979- OUCH! It hurts just to say that!
:) xo
