Care quilt for my beloved J.D.
I love my brother in-law J.D. sooo much! When we heard he had to undergo a very difficult medical procedure way far away in California we all felt so helpless. The best I could do was try to create a care quilt for him to lift his spirits and help his healing process. I put all of the love, hope and prayers I could into each stitch and every sequin. Our Lady of Guadeloupe is here to connect with his mother Clarita's Mexican heritage and protect him in the years to come. I don't think I have ever been so mindful while quilting. This was truly made with love.

So lovely.
What an amazing gift. I really believe that the love you put into that quilt does find it's way to the recipient. All of those kind and wonderful thoughts of love. I sure hope he is doing better now. My baby girl had a very scary surgery once and she was given two quilts that both gave such comfort to her and to us as her folks. I still treasure those quilts.
Beautiful quilt and unforgettable gift. Hope he's feeling better now.
That is such a wonderful gift. Like Nina said, an unforgettable gift.
